Parks Commission

The Parks Commission was formed following the sunset of the Parks Committee to provide advice to the City Council about major programs, activities, and policies related to parks and recreational activities in the community. In addition, this Commission oversees the implementation of the Parks Master Plan and recommend development of facilities in the City’s parks system to the City Council.

Parks Commission – Accepting Applications

Currently, the City of Millersburg is accepting applications from Millersburg residents interested in serving on the newly formed Parks Commission. The City is recruiting to fill five (5) vacancies on this Commission serving offset rotating three (3) year terms. The Commission will meet quarterly. The City is seeking applicants from a cross section of residents within the City of Millersburg. Applications will be accepted through July 7 for consideration of appointment by City Council at the July 14, 2020 Council Meeting.
