Building Permit Forms & Resources

Builders and Contractors,

Please see our website for important information and updates regarding city operations during the Coronavirus Emergency (COVID-19).  In order to keep you and our staff safe by minimizing contact time and limiting exposures, we are implementing procedures for building permit processing during this time.

If you plan on applying for any building permits through the end of the month you must have all forms completely filled out and signed prior to dropping off the plans. This includes residential, commercial, plumbing, and mechanical permit applications; utility connection forms; right of way permits; and grading permits.  If you require assistance filling out permit forms, please call City Hall at 458-233-6300.

When permits are ready to be picked up we will continue to email you an invoice, as is our normal procedure. Please give the City a 24 hour notice when you would like to pick up a permit and have your payment ready.

If our office becomes closed to the public we will meet you at the door, collect signatures and payment if necessary, and hand you the permit(s) or receive the permits from you for processing.

The City of Millersburg uses Linn County building permit applications for residential and commercial building permits.
